Teena Marie

In 1988, I was introduced to Teena Marie from my friend Stephanie.  Before meeting Stephanie, I knew Teena Marie from “Fire & Desire” and “Lover Girl”, but thanks to her, I found a true artist.  

I was grateful to see Teena in concert several times in my life since my initial introduction.  One of the things that makes Teena unique is her talent as a singer, musician, singer and poet. When you find these rare jewels they don’t emulate, instead they create.
